After training in jewelry in a self-taught way, it was at the age of 30 that Philippe Narbel began training as a watchmaker in a manufacture in the Vallée de Joux. His passion for raw metal, which he shaped to achieve remarkable beauty, led him to develop exceptional skills in bevelling and skeletonization on watches with great complications.

In 2015, Philippe Narbel founded Manufactor SA in L’Abbaye, creating a world where watch decoration takes on an artistic dimension. However, he does not forget his strong desire to create his own watch brand. That’s why in 2021, his first creation entitled ‘Roots’ was born after four years of work. A watch that defies convention with a refined design, a distinctive central cushion and a bold approach centered on uniqueness. It is also at this time that the project of the collective “Narbel & Co” emerges, aiming to support other watchmaking creators.

Philippe Narbel’s vision transcends traditional Swiss made, favouring transparency and promoting the watchmaking skills developed in the Franco-Swiss Jura, recognized by Unesco.

Some time ago, Philippe Narbel unveiled his new model, the SKEL-1, which reveals a dazzling technical depth. Each detail, carefully thought out, reflects an expertise acquired over the years. The meticulously positioned skeletonized elements reveal the complexity of the movement, testifying to Narbel’s ability to harmonize art and functionality. This watch embodies a perfect fusion of watchmaking tradition and contemporary innovation, unveiling a masterpiece that transcends time.
